Black & Pink Princess Shower

Being that our dear friend and fellow employee has waited until her late 30's to have her first child, we wanted to fancy this baby shower up for her.

Our theme was appropriately entitled "It's about time...". We used a black, white, and pink color scheme.

It is quite challenging to dress up a boring conference room, but everything seemed to have worked out very nicely. Can you guess what this chandelier is made of? Well, if you guessed a tomato cage, you are right! J.J. can fashion up ANYTHING! It was spray painted black and then used needle nose pliers to get it just right. She hung tulle pom poms from necklaces purchased at the dollar store from the toy aisle.

We wanted the tablescape to be frilly and girly. If you look very closely at the booties on the table, those are actually made out of scrapbook paper. J.J. found a template for both those and the cupcake wrappers for her cricut. We used wine glasses and turned them upside down to rest the cupcakes on.

Thanks for taking a look.....come back soon! -Kaylyn
